AVIATION SECTOR – Eneam regains its accreditation

Suspended since April 21, the National School of Aeronautics and Meteorology (Eneam) is once again authorized to provide its training programs.

The National School of Aeronautics and Meteorology (Eneam) officially obtained the reinstatement of its accreditation yesterday. This decision authorizes the immediate resumption of educational activities, which had been interrupted since April 21 following an audit that revealed several failures to meet regulatory requirements.

The audit had led the competent authorities to temporarily suspend the institution’s accreditation. In total, eight major non-conformities and six minor non-conformities were identified, mandating the implementation of corrective measures before any training could resume.

Under the leadership of its new Director General, Rindrasoa Nadia, the institution has undertaken several actions designed to meet the requirements of the aeronautical sector. These measures have enabled the school to satisfy the conditions required by the regulatory authorities.

Efforts

“I asked the Director General to resolve the issues identified during the audit without delay. But beyond achieving compliance, Eneam must commit to a process of continuous improvement in order to maintain the quality of its training over the long term,” declared Alban Rakotoarisoa, Director General of Civil Aviation of Madagascar (ACM).

The inspector from the Civil Aviation of Madagascar responsible for monitoring the file also praised the efforts undertaken by the institution to correct the anomalies found during the inspection.

The resumption of classes is met with relief by the students. After a month and a half of interruption, many now hope to continue their studies in a more stable environment. Parents, who were also concerned about the suspension of training, welcomed the return to normalcy while calling for more rigorous management to avoid any further interruptions.

With the granting of this new accreditation, Eneam turns the page on a period of uncertainty and begins a new chapter focused on regulatory compliance and the improvement of its training quality.
