The world of work is undergoing rapid change. Companies are facing new challenges regarding the health, safety, and well-being of their employees, including organizational shifts, job transformations, ergonomic risks, mental workload, climate change, and new regulatory requirements. These issues were at the heart of a conference-debate titled “Raising Awareness on Workplace Ergonomics and Global Performance,” organized yesterday in Antsahabe by the Inter-company Health Space of Antananarivo (Esia).
In response to these challenges, the inter-company health organization highlighted the necessity of a preventive and sustainable approach to occupational health. The conference, which brought together key stakeholders in occupational health and safety—including representatives from the Ministry of Labor, the World Health Organization (WHO), as well as various companies and field practitioners—provided a platform for experts and professionals to better understand the risks workers face and to discuss proactive solutions.
“Investing in people is not just about responding to problems as they arise. It is also about preventing, anticipating, and supporting the transformations in the professional world to sustainably preserve the health, skills, and capacity of workers to contribute to their company’s performance,” noted Esia.
