A decisive step towards obtaining professional qualification. 1,397 candidates from technical and vocational high schools (LTP) and vocational training centers (CFP) in Madagascar are participating in the examination for the Certificate of Professional Aptitude (CAP). This national exam, held from July 13 to 16, also facilitates the integration of learners into the job market.
The candidates are distributed across 42 examination centers, including LTPs and CFPs throughout the country. The exam covers two training paths: the CAP based on Pedagogy by Objectives (PPO) and the CAP based on the Competency-Based Approach (APC). The PPO stream covers six professional sectors divided into 14 specialties, while the APC stream encompasses five sectors and eight specialties, with technical support from the Don Bosco Madagascar Center and the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians.
The Ministry of Technical Education and Vocational Training states that all necessary measures have been taken to ensure the smooth conduct of the tests across the territory. Central services, regional directorates, training institutions, and various stakeholders are mobilized to guarantee examination conditions that meet national requirements.
Following the tests, the papers and practical work will be immediately submitted for evaluation. For the APC stream, this mission will be carried out by trainers from the professional sector. Evaluations for the PPO stream will be conducted by trainers from the training centers. The results will be published on July 24 and can be consulted online on the dedicated official platform.
