Ban on LED lights on vehicles: 5-day grace period ends, first sanctions imposed

LED lighting on automobiles, two-wheelers, and heavy goods vehicles is now prohibited on national territory, and such devices must be uninstalled or face sanctions. Road authorities had granted owners and users of affected vehicles a five-day grace period, starting from July 25, 2026, to comply with the regulation.
