A gathering for the youth. More than 600 young leaders, entrepreneurs, and visitors are expected at the first edition of the Youth Leader Summit, scheduled for October 1st and 2nd at the Cité des Cultures in Antaninarenina. The event, held as part of the JCI Madagascar National Convention, is organized by JCI Iarivo.
Dedicated to youth, leadership, and entrepreneurship, the summit aims to provide young people with a space to develop their skills, discover new opportunities, and engage with stakeholders who can support their projects. More than 100 JCI delegates from various regions of Madagascar are also expected to attend the National Convention. The Youth Leader Summit will serve as a meeting point between these young people and various public and private companies, organizations, and institutions.
“Developing youth leadership means giving them the means to take initiative and the confidence necessary to carry them out,” emphasizes Minah Rakotobe, National President of JCI Madagascar. According to her, the ambition of this first edition is to enable participants to leave with tools, contacts, and a concrete next step for their projects or commitments.
Participating companies, organizations, and institutions will have the opportunity to present their offers, capacity-building programs, and initiatives for youth empowerment. Through this inaugural edition, the organizers aim to promote a vision of leadership based on learning, networking, and taking responsibility.
