The High Constitutional Court (HCC) has censored a portion of the organic law No. 2026-011 regarding the Economic, Social and Cultural Council (CESC), which serves as an advisory body. Following a referral by the President of the Republic before the promulgation of the text concerning the CESC, the constitutional jurisdiction ruled that the presidents of the parliament are not authorized to refer matters to this specific organ.
