The Grand Rallye de Madagascar, organized by the federation in mid-November, will take place in Moramanga. The top three in the provisional standings are still in contention for the title.
A decisive final round. Nothing is settled yet after the Rallye Tour de Tana, the fourth round of the national championship. The 46th Grand Rallye de Madagascar by Orange, the fifth and final round of the Madagascar Rally Championship, will determine the 2026 season champion.
The top three in the provisional standings—Frédéric Rabekoto (127 points) driving a Mitsubishi Yas, Olivier Ramiandrisoa (115 points) in a Mitsubishi Evo X Motul, and Mathieu Andrianjafy (105.5 points) in a Subaru Impreza—remain in the running for the title.
Organized by the Madagascar Automobile Sports Federation (FSAM), this final rally of the season, which carries a coefficient of 2, will be held in Moramanga. It will be the second round held outside the capital, following the Rallye du Boeny organized in Mahajanga in August. Thirteen special stages, including eight different ones, totaling 164.16 km, await the competitors on November 13, 14, and 15. Including liaisons, the total distance is 292 km.
The battle for the title remains open, both in the general classification and in the various groups and classes. The top three in the provisional standings have shared the victories in the four national rounds already contested.
The first two rounds of the championship, organized by the FMMSAM club at the end of May and the ASACM at the end of June respectively, were won by the crew of Mathieu Andrianjafy and Nathanael Young in a Subaru Impreza. A six-time national champion, Mathieu Andrianjafy confirmed his participation after voicing his demands for improved organization and a renewal and diversification of the special stages.
The Rallye du Boeny, held in Mahajanga in mid-August, was won by the duo of Frédéric Rabekoto and Andry Tahina Rakotomalala Andrianjafy, driving a Mitsubishi Yas. The recent Rallye Tour de Tana, organized by the Asa Tana club, was dominated by Olivier Ramiandrisoa and Mahenintsoa Randriambolona at the wheel of a Mitsubishi Evo X Motul. This final round promises suspense and is set to be electric.
