Friday, September 25, will be declared a paid public holiday throughout the national territory. This day will be dedicated to commemorating the first anniversary of the events that occurred last year, as well as paying tribute to the victims and those affected.
Commemorative activities are planned in Antananarivo and the other five provinces, in collaboration with local territorial authorities. Workers are also invited to participate in the various scheduled initiatives.
This measure will result in the suspension of normal professional activities across the country. The ceremonies will mark this first anniversary and serve to honor the memory of the victims.
