INTERNATIONAL FAIR – Local sectors on display in Ivato

Companies, producers, and institutions will gather from September 10 to 13 at the Ivato International Conference Center (CCI Ivato) for the 8th edition of the International Agriculture, Livestock, and Fisheries Fair, held in conjunction with the 2nd International Gastronomy Festival.

Two hundred and twenty exhibitors will gather under the theme “Madagascar in motion: producing, processing, developing.” More than 25,000 visitors are expected at this event, organized by Mada Vision. The fair aims to create a meeting space for producers, entrepreneurs, institutions, and consumers. The 162 stands dedicated to agriculture and 58 to gastronomy will cover over ten sectors, including farming, livestock, fisheries, agribusiness, industry, crafts, and services.

This edition places a strong emphasis on the private sector. Official sponsors—Yas Business, Star, Luceo, and SFOI—will showcase their expertise. Yas Business will highlight communication and digitalization solutions for farmers, while Star will focus on the transformation of local raw materials. Luceo will present natural products, and SFOI will demonstrate packaging expertise essential for product commercialization.

Public institutions will also participate. The Ministry of Livestock will promote modern farming as a source of sustainable income, while the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty will showcase agricultural output. The Ministry of Industrialization and the Private Sector will emphasize the importance of processing local resources to create added value.

The fair will also feature public attractions, including a livestock park, pony rides, and a concert by Samoëla on Saturday, September 12.
