CureSureMedico inaugurated its new headquarters in Ivandry on Saturday. Active since 2023 in assisting Malagasy patients seeking specialized care abroad, CureSureMedico has already supported over one hundred patients and introduced a medical triage system designed to evaluate the necessity of international medical evacuations.
CureSureMedico (CSM) officially opened its new office in Ivandry on Saturday, attended by representatives from the health sector, institutional partners, and Mohit Kumar, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. at the Embassy of India in Madagascar.
The company used the ceremony to present a digital management system for international medical evacuations and a clinical triage tool called CAT (Case Triage). According to officials, this mechanism allows for the analysis of a patient’s medical file before any decision is made regarding transfer abroad.
Data provided by management indicates that more than 100 patients have been assisted since operations began in 2023, with a marked increase in demand over the last eighteen months. Oncology accounts for over 60% of cases treated, followed by interventional cardiology, neurology, and complex orthopedics.
Fanantenana Joseph Jérôme, Director of Operations at CureSureMedico, noted that the CAT system also helps avoid unnecessary travel. The company estimates that approximately 15% of analyzed cases do not ultimately require treatment abroad, either because prior stabilization is needed or because an appropriate therapeutic solution exists within Madagascar.
The new digital system is also intended to centralize medical reports and therapeutic recommendations to facilitate patient follow-up upon their return to the country. For this reason, CureSureMedico collaborates with referring physicians from university hospitals (CHU) and the private sector to ensure continuity of care.
During his speech, Mohit Kumar, representing the Indian Embassy, highlighted the strengthening of health cooperation between Madagascar and India. He also announced ‘Sanjeevani 2026’, an event dedicated to partnerships in health services, scheduled for next September in India.
