The performances of its athletes in national and international competitions testify to the quality of the teaching and technical supervision at the Antananarivo Karate-Do Training Club (CFKA). The national titles won by Fitia Marinah Ravaonarimanana, Mathina Carinah Andriamasy Rasamoelina, and Nicolas Rakotoarimanana during the recent Madagascar championships in Fianarantsoa are a clear illustration of this.
Fitia Marinah Ravaonarimanana, 14, discovered the demands of competition in 2025 in the cadet kata category. Her initial results at the Madagascar championships in Antsirabe, which fell short of her expectations, prompted her to redouble her efforts.
In 2026, she won the title at the season opener in Atsimondrano, then distinguished herself at the Antananarivo International Cup by defeating a Reunionese opponent in the final. She subsequently secured the title of Madagascar champion in cadet kata and earned her selection for the national team. Her progress and perseverance have been notably supported by her father, Sensei Robert Ravaolahy.
Mathina Carinah Andriamasy Rasamoelina, 14, joined the CFKA at the age of 12. Since then, she has reached several milestones. She notably stood out during the Best of the Best at the end of 2025, winning the individual title in the minime category and contributing to the collective success of the CFKA.
In 2026, she confirmed her progress by winning in Atsimondrano, then at the Antananarivo International Cup, both individually in the minime category and as part of a team, as well as at the University and School Cup organized at the Ankoay gymnasium by MESUPRES and the FKM. In her first participation in the cadet category, she also won the national title in kumite in the under 54 kg category.
Nicolas Rakotoarimanana, 16, completes this promising trio. Having arrived at the CFKA in 2024, he quickly distinguished himself through his seriousness, sense of responsibility, and ambition. His transition to the junior category in 2026 was marked by a Madagascar champion title in kumite in the over 70 kg category.
