After several years of keeping a low profile, Yzit will return to the stage at the Palais des Sports de Mahamasina alongside Marion, for a concert marking the latter’s 20-year career. This event will bring the two artists together to perform their iconic tracks.
The public will see Yzit join Marion on Sunday, November 1st, starting at 2:00 PM at the Palais des Sports de Mahamasina. Organized by Sr Event, winner of the Best Event Organizer trophy at the Afro Mada Music Awards, this show will conclude the festivities celebrating Marion’s 20-year career. For the occasion, Marion invited his ‘brother-in-arms’ to join him on stage. The two artists are preparing about fifty songs for a performance lasting approximately four hours, with a special focus on their shared repertoire. Yzit is expected to perform five to six tracks.
‘I don’t sing as much as I used to here in Madagascar because I am often on tour abroad. But Marion is a brother-in-arms. This is an important event, and I am very happy that he invited me,’ Yzit shared. His participation adds a special dimension to this celebration, as fans have been waiting to see the artist again after several years of absence.
For Marion, these twenty years of career have been marked by both joys and trials that have shaped his journey. He particularly remembers his debut on stage in Analamahitsy, when he shared the bill with already well-known artists. At the time, some audience reactions left a deep mark on him. ‘Who is he to get on stage?’ he recalls, referring to the questions from spectators who did not yet know him.
