Active participation of the faithful in the national consultation is among the priorities of the Church of Jesus Christ in Madagascar (FJKM). At the closing of the third ordinary session of central leaders last Wednesday in Ampandrana, the president of the Church, Pastor Andriamampianina Zaka Hary Masy, called on Christians to get involved in the consultation work organized under the leadership of the Council of Christian Churches in Madagascar (FFKM).
In his message dedicated to national affairs, delivered at the closing of this week-long ordinary session, he emphasized that “representatives of the Church at the level of each fokontany, commune, district, region, and at the national level should participate in the consultation work within the framework of the national consultation.”
“Beyond the three people called by the FFKM to take responsibility for leading and coordinating the work at each level, we, as Christians, must all mobilize to participate,” he declared. To concretize this commitment, the FJKM plans to set up a mechanism to organize and facilitate the participation of its faithful in this national process.
