Madagascar is moving towards establishing a national framework to clearly distinguish investments that are truly “green.” A first version of the Madagascar Green Taxonomy is currently undergoing public consultation. The project is led by a technical committee bringing together the Central Bank of Madagascar (BFM), the Ministry of Economy and Finance, and other stakeholders.
