The Rakotondrazakas were in top form. Rhandy Rakotondrazaka from the CJRT Atsinanana club and Océane Rakotondrazaka from Challengers Analamanga each achieved a brilliant double at the Madagascar Table Tennis Championships, held at the Ampisikina gymnasium in Mahajanga from September 3 to 6.
Rhandy defeated Lino Razafindralambo from Challengers 3-0 in the N1A final and beat Harry from Young Vibes Analamanga 3-0 in the junior final. Meanwhile, Ranto Océane retained her title by dominating Santatra Raharijaona from Cosfa 3-0 in the women’s N1 category, after having defeated Fitia from CJST Atsinanana 3-0 in the junior division.
The titles in the 2nd series were claimed by Rija from Amoron’Imania in the men’s category and Jenny from Cosfa in the women’s. In the cadet category, Elie from CJST won 3-0 against the Analamanga champion, David, in the boys’ division, while Idealy from CFTT Atsinanana narrowly outperformed Mayane Rakotondrazaka from Challengers with a 3-2 victory.
