The stage is set. The Madagascar women’s U23 national team will participate in the FIBA 3×3 U23 World Cup. The competition will be held from September 15 to 19 in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China.
Madagascar will compete for the world title against the best U23 national teams. Eighteen nations will be in the running: the Netherlands, China, Japan, the United States, Spain, France, the Czech Republic, Italy, Poland, Uganda, Latvia, Egypt, Canada, the Philippines, Tonga, Slovenia, Australia, and Madagascar.
Since its launch in 2018, the FIBA 3×3 U23 World Cup has become an essential springboard for young talents aspiring to shine at the senior level. This competition thus represents a new opportunity for the Ankoay to distinguish themselves on the international stage.
