The U16 national basketball championship continues in Ambositra with highly competitive matches between representatives from various leagues. On Tuesday, August 25, both boys’ and girls’ categories saw significant results, including clashes between Analamanga and Atsimo Andrefana, as well as Alaotra Mangoro and Atsinanana.
In the boys’ category, ASSM Analamanga confirmed their strength by dominating CSCBCA Atsimo Andrefana with a score of 86 to 66. After a hard-fought match, the Analamanga representatives gradually took control to win by a twenty-point margin. This victory allows ASSM to continue their journey with confidence in this national competition, where every result counts.
In the girls’ category, ABBCM Alaotra Mangoro also secured a victory against CRJS Atsinanana. The players from Alaotra Mangoro won 36 to 28, in a match where collective mastery and defensive efficiency made the difference. Despite their resistance, the representatives of Atsinanana were unable to turn the tide.
