Raboussa invites the public to the Palais des Sports in Mahamasina for “Revy,” a concert that will bring together several artists to celebrate his 25 years on stage.
After launching the celebration of his 25-year career at the Palais des Sports in Mahamasina at the end of August 2025, Raboussa will return on August 30th, starting at 3:00 PM, to write the final chapter. Organized by SR Events, with Ivenco handling sound and technical equipment, the show will also feature special effects and visual elements by Sarysyfeo.
Titled “Revy,” this event will be marked by the presence of 18,3, Marion, and Doubl’E’N, as well as a surprise guest to be revealed later.
“25 years on stage is no small feat. There have been ups and downs, difficult moments, joys, and people who have supported us a lot,” emphasizes Raboussa. For the artist, such a milestone cannot be celebrated alone. Having shared the beginning of this cycle with his loved ones and fellow travelers, he intends to finish it by their side on stage.
The choice of guests is part of this history. Doubl’E’N is among the artists who have been particularly significant in Raboussa’s journey. With 18,3, he also shares a common history linked to the beginnings of Malagasy rap. “We marked a part of the history of Malagasy rap together, so it is natural that they are there,” he explains. As for Marion, even though he is not a rapper, he is presented as “a brother with whom I have always moved forward and supported each other.” A fourth guest will complete the lineup.
For this show, Raboussa relies on a formula he has been developing since 2011: a hybrid acoustic rap blending rap, DJing, and live music. He will be accompanied by Volamihanta, Nino on keyboards, Herz on turntables, Fy on drums, Pa on guitar, Nanja on bass, and a saxophonist.
The program will highlight tracks that have marked his career, as well as songs frequently requested by the public. “We have added tracks that people love and often ask for, even if we don’t always play them,” the artist specifies. The audience will find several of his iconic tracks, with a staging that pays particular attention to scenography.
The event is expected to last more than three hours. A musical opening is also planned before the main show.
Raboussa has been on stage for 25 years, although he notes that his career under this stage name dates back 30 years. His discographic history began notably with the album “Rap Mandrakizay,” released in 2003. Subsequently, the artist favored releasing singles rather than full albums, while adapting certain tracks to new distribution methods, particularly on social media.
This longevity does not prevent him from reaching a new audience. After noticing that his spectators had gradually aged, Raboussa observes that young listeners are also interested in his universe, especially since the release of new tracks at the beginning of 2026.
The day of the show will also be marked by the release of a Collector’s USB dedicated to Raboussa’s 25 years on stage. It will gather audio and video content, live performances, album excerpts, archives, music videos, old and recent documentaries, as well as old and new tracks. A way to retrace a quarter-century of artistic journey in images and music.
