OFFICIAL EXAM – 51.57% success rate for the 2026 Baccalaureate in the Atsinanana and Alaotra-Mangoro regions

The suspense has ended for candidates in the Atsinanana and Alaotra-Mangoro regions. The results of the 2026 Baccalaureate are now available in both regions. Following the deliberation held on Thursday at the Ratsimilaho General Education College (CEG) in Toamasina, the overall success rate stands at 51.57%, compared to 55.36% in the previous session, marking a decrease of 3.79 percentage points.

Slightly more than half of the 24,178 candidates who participated in the 2026 Baccalaureate session in these two regions earned their diplomas. General education, which had 22,882 candidates, recorded a success rate of 50.20%, while technical education, with 1,296 candidates participating in the official exam, recorded a significantly higher success rate of 76.23%.

For this session, the top performance goes to a general education candidate in the D series at the Toamasina center, with an average of 16.90/20, earning the distinction of “Very Good.” In technical and vocational education, the highest grade was 16.70/20, achieved by a candidate in the CCBTP specialty at the Moramanga center.

The official publication of the results began on Thursday evening, with lists posted on Friday morning at the Jacques Rabemananjara High School, the Technical and Vocational High School, and the Ratsimilaho CEG, as well as at the various relevant school districts for peripheral areas. Candidates can also check their results online or via SMS. Almost all regions have now published their Baccalaureate results, with the exception of Antananarivo. If no changes occur, the deliberation is expected to be held this Friday, prior to the publication of the results.
