While Michaël Randrianirina, president of the Refondation, has already announced that the state is prepared to hold elections starting in July 2027, the Malagasy political class appears to be moving at a slow pace. Only three political parties maintain a visible presence on the ground. The others are content to observe, betting on an institutional reorganization.
