FUEL SUPPLY – Petroleum Group fears potential disruptions

The tanker carrying diesel for Jirama and the vessel transporting the cargo for the Petroleum Group of Madagascar (GPM) have arrived in Toamasina. This simultaneous arrival requires logistical coordination to ensure the continuity of supply.

A logistical challenge has emerged at the port of Toamasina with the arrival of two tankers. One, named Sunda 1, is carrying diesel imported by the State through the State Procurement of Madagascar (SPM) for Jirama. The other is transporting a cargo of unleaded gasoline, diesel, and kerosene ordered by the Petroleum Group of Madagascar (GPM).
