The 13th edition of the Sômarôho Festival kicked off with an exceptional turnout, but the performance by Jamaican star Sheenseea left many fans disappointed due to its short duration.
Thousands of festival-goers gathered at the Villa Wawa in Djamandzar, Nosy Be, eager to see Chinsea Linda Lee, known as Sheenseea. The atmosphere was electric as local artists like Wawa, Théo Rakotovao, and Anatal warmed up the crowd until the international star finally appeared around 3:00 AM.
Despite a warm welcome and a brief moment of connection with the audience, Sheenseea left the stage after only two and a half songs without explanation. Fans, who had paid 50,000 ariary for tickets and traveled from afar, expressed their frustration, noting that she did not perform her most popular hits. The artist is scheduled to perform again this Friday in Ambodivoanio, where fans hope for a more substantial show.
