Several social impact projects will be implemented as part of the partnership between Ravinala Airports and TotalEnergies Marketing Madagasikara. Yesterday, the two companies formalized a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) partnership aimed at amplifying their social and environmental impact in the regions where they operate, particularly around the airports of Antananarivo and Nosy Be.
Together, they will support associations working to reintegrate vulnerable children from public primary schools (EPP) in Antananarivo into the education system. They will also deploy the ‘Brisons les règles’ (Breaking the Rules) initiative, a winner of TotalEnergies’ ‘Act for Impact’ program, to combat period poverty by distributing kits of washable sanitary pads to young girls in Nosy Be.
This initiative aims to improve their well-being, boost their self-confidence, and contribute to a more inclusive future. Road safety awareness campaigns for local communities will be organized, and sustainable energy solutions will be implemented for communities located in the areas where both entities operate.
‘By joining our efforts in education, women’s empowerment, road safety, and the environment, we want to provide tangible responses to the needs of the populations living near Ivato and Fascène airports,’ said Daniel Lefebvre, CEO of Ravinala Airports, on this occasion.
