Emotion filled the opening of the concert celebrating the 23rd anniversary of RDJ 96.6 FM at the Palais des Sports in Mahamasina. After a year of absence spent abroad following the passing of his wife in 2025, Princio made his grand return to this iconic stage. Warmly welcomed by the audience, he opened the show by performing several of his hits, creating one of the most memorable moments of the evening.
The celebration also brought together four essential figures of Malagasy music: Denise, Shyn, Ljo, and Ceasar. Highly anticipated, the star couple Denise and Shyn confirmed their artistic chemistry by performing several duets, including ‘Tiako Hanjeky,’ which was enthusiastically sung along by the crowd.
For Denise, this invitation held special significance. Accompanied by RDJ since the beginning of her career and a multiple-time winner at the RDJ Mozika Awards, including the title of Artist of the Year, the singer praised the radio’s trust in her and its commitment to Malagasy music.
Present in the RDJ universe since 2005, Shyn expressed his gratitude for this long-standing collaboration. He announced that this concert served as a preview before his participation in the Makua Festival in Toamasina, while highlighting the quality of RDJ’s productions and technical facilities.
