Madagascar’s 100m champion in the youth categories, held at Alarobia, Embony Andyh Carole confirms her potential and continues her rise. At 19, the ESAA Analamanga athlete nurtures great ambitions while continuing her studies. With a time of 12.3 seconds in the 100 meters, the young sprinter from ESAA Analamanga, born on August 20, 2007, is establishing herself as one of the rising stars of Malagasy athletics.
It was by observing her elders that she discovered her passion for sprinting. The performances of the great names in national athletics, particularly those of Claudine Nomenjanahary, have strengthened her determination. “Seeing my elders, I chose to practice athletics. Seeing Claudine compete in a club abroad makes me want to follow the same path,” she confides.
A high school senior, Embony Andyh Carole manages to balance the demands of her studies and training. For her, success comes through discipline and hard work. Her goal is clear: to one day join the national team, defend Madagascar’s colors at the 2027 Indian Ocean Island Games, and then aim for the world championships. “You have to work very hard to achieve these goals,” reminds the new Madagascar champion, who is determined to turn her dream into reality.
