Holder of a CAF C license, Fenosoa Ratolojanahary climbed the ranks before taking charge of FC Rouge in 2025.
Regarding the team’s strengths, Ratolojanahary highlights the cohesion and solidarity of the group. The squad consists of young players aged between 17 and 25, none of whom are currently in the national team (Barea). Their receptiveness has made it easier to implement tactical and technical instructions during the Pure Play Football League and the Cup.
The coach noted that the most difficult match was the quarter-final against FC FA in Antalaha, where the team faced exhaustion after a two-day, 1,500-kilometer journey. Despite the challenges, the club has secured its CAF club license, a requirement for participating in African competitions.
Looking ahead to their first appearance in an African interclub competition, the team will begin an intensive training camp at Espace Arena in Ivandry. The club is currently in negotiations to recruit seven to eight new players to strengthen all positions for the upcoming campaign.
