France retains third place despite their loss to England (4-6) in the third-place play-off. England climbs to fourth, ahead of Brazil. Morocco, a quarter-finalist, rises to sixth, remaining the highest-ranked African nation. Portugal falls to seventh, followed by Belgium, the Netherlands, and Mexico.
Madagascar maintains its 104th global ranking and 22nd position in Africa. Within the Indian Ocean region, Madagascar remains the leader, ahead of Comoros (108th), Maldives (173rd), Mauritius (178th), and Seychelles (204th). The next ranking update is scheduled for October 7.
