VISA APPLICATION – Federation continues negotiations

Still waiting. Two weeks after the initially scheduled departure date for the delegation, the Malagasy Boules Sports Federation (FSBM) and the six players from the two national teams selected to participate in summer tournaments in France are still awaiting the outcome of negotiations and interventions initiated by state authorities.

The federation team has not given up and is relaunching the visa application for the country’s representatives with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports as well as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“The procedures are underway and we are still waiting for the progress and the result of the intervention… The duration of their stay will be reduced compared to the 90 days initially planned. Their return to the country remains unchanged, set for July 20,” said the president of the federation, Adrien Julio Édouard Andrianirina.

The first team consists of Lova Satamandimby Rakotoarisoa, Faralahy Urbain Joseph Ramanantiaray, and Tiana Laurens Razanadrakoto, while the second team is composed of Tafita Angelo Andriamahandry, Steph James Bondy Rakotonirina, and Jean Mickaël Ratolojanahary. So far, the teams presented by the federation have already missed six out of the seventeen tournaments listed in the Passion Pétanque Française calendar.
