A National Committee of the IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature) was officially established during a workshop held on July 2nd and 3rd, 2026, at the ILO Hotel Anosiala, Ambohidratrimo. The workshop, placed under the supervision of the Ministry of the Environment and Sustainable Development, is co-funded by the FAPBM, Conservation Allies, and various IUCN projects.
