A celebratory event designed to unite. To mark its fifth anniversary, Garage Mozika Production is organizing the ‘Ultimate Show’ this Sunday at the Barea Mahamasina Stadium. Presented as the first event of this scale hosted by the organization, this concert will bring together three iconic figures of the Malagasy rock scene: Mage 4, Iraimbilanja, and Rheg The Gang.
According to Rado Ramamonjisoa, owner and manager of Garage Mozika: “This celebration was conceived as a popular gathering, larger than our usual cabaret shows, organized in a more spacious venue to allow the public to fully experience this festivity.” The choice of artists is driven by their notoriety in the rock universe and their ability to bring together all generations.
The spirit of sharing will also be at the heart of the show. The song “Ifampizarana” by Mage 4 has been chosen as the event’s theme to convey this message “simply and elegantly” to the audience. In the same spirit, the three groups will exchange their repertoires on stage: Rheg The Gang will perform an Iraimbilanja song, Mage 4 will cover a Rheg The Gang track, and all three formations will join forces to perform a piece by Mage 4.
Beyond the musical performance, the ‘Ultimate Show’ also aims to convey a message of unity. “Sometimes there is a form of division between rock and metal. However, this concert will show that these two worlds can share the same stage,” explains Rado Ramamonjisoa. The event is thus intended to be a symbol of reconciliation between the different sensibilities of rock music.
Founded five years ago, Garage Mozika is both a production company and a karaoke lounge-bar located in 67 Ha. Through this ‘Ultimate Show’, the organization intends to celebrate its journey while offering the public an unprecedented moment defined by sharing and music.
