The Malagasy band promises an intense concert at the IFM, driven by the energy of rock and the strength of their compositions.
Following the release of their debut album Alina in 2024, The Revery returns to the stage with a concert scheduled for this Saturday at 3:00 PM at the Institut Français de Madagascar (IFM). The band intends to offer the audience an immersion into their musical universe, blending power, emotion, and artistic camaraderie.
The show will combine “raw emotion, rock energy, and musical complicity,” aiming to provide an experience that is both intense and sensitive for the spectators.
Founded in 2017 in Antananarivo, The Revery has gradually established itself on the Malagasy independent rock scene thanks to an authentic style. Their compositions address themes such as environmental urgency, human emotions, and mental health, within a register that is both introspective and dynamic.
The band consists of Antonio on drums, Kiady and Axel on guitars, as well as Riccardo on bass and vocals. Together, these musicians champion a unique artistic identity that contributes to the vibrancy of the Malagasy rock scene.
