Sunday marked another suffocating day in Europe. The blanket of scorching air across the continent is moving towards the east, where the WHO has recorded 1,300 deaths attributed to the heatwave since June 21.
“More than 1,300 additional deaths have been registered since June 21 in connection with the high temperatures in Europe,” the organization stated.
