The International Business and Entrepreneurship Fair (SIAE) will be held from November 19 to 22 at the Ivato International Conference Center (CCI). Organized on the occasion of Industrialization Week, this fifth edition aims to support Malagasy entrepreneurs, promote local products, and facilitate economic exchanges. Its holding was confirmed during a press conference yesterday at the Yas Campus in Andraharo.
The Fair will bring together entrepreneurs, investors, producers, artisans, and project leaders. It is intended to allow them to establish professional contacts, find new commercial outlets, and conclude partnerships. For small and medium-sized enterprises, these meetings will be an opportunity to prospect for new clients and develop their activities.
While access to financing and markets remains difficult for many economic operators, the organizers wish to connect companies with partners capable of supporting their development.
Participants will be able to present their products, showcase their expertise, and discover services that meet their needs. This edition will give a special place to agribusiness, from agricultural production to export, including processing and marketing. Discussions will focus in particular on market outlets for harvests and possibilities for processing agricultural products.
An exhibition-sale will also be dedicated to “Vita Malagasy” (Made in Madagascar) products. Local companies will offer essential goods, clothing, wellness services, and construction materials, with discounts of up to 50% announced.
Beyond sales, this initiative aims to encourage the consumption of products manufactured in Madagascar to support local production and jobs. “The SIAE is much more than just an economic fair. It is a national mobilization event aimed at promoting Vita Malagasy products, enhancing local industry, and bringing young people closer to industrial professions,” declared Rivo Andriamanalina, Vice-President of the Syndicate of Industries of Madagascar (SIM).
Yas Business is among the official sponsors of this edition. The organizers intend to make the Fair a meeting place conducive to exchanges and commercial agreements.
