The implementation plan for the national anti-corruption strategy was transmitted to all ministries two weeks ago. Already developed and tailored to the specific missions of each department, this plan is now ready for implementation.
“It notably provides for the prosecution of perpetrators of corrupt acts as well as various provisions to advance cases before the competent judicial authorities,” explained a source yesterday within the Committee for the Safeguard of Integrity (CSI), which developed the plan. Each ministry now has its own plan, adapted to its sector of activity. Areas such as sports and mining, as well as corruption risks related to product exports, are particularly targeted.
Since this week, government ministers have been presenting their strategies for implementing this policy. The Minister of Communication and Culture, O’Gascar Fenosoa, was the first to present it in public media, in accordance with the instructions of the Head of State, Colonel Michael Randrianirina.
