The residents of Ambalafary, in the commune of Betsizaraina, Mahanoro district, were shocked by a brutal murder in their community. A 62-year-old elderly woman, who lived alone and owned land containing gold and cloves, was found dead. Her throat had been slit and her body was covered in wounds. An investigation is currently underway as local residents are deeply concerned.
