As part of the ongoing celebrations for the birth of the First Malagasy Republic, a film about the 1947 insurrection was screened at La Terrasse du Voyageur in Antsiranana yesterday at 6:00 PM. The organizer of the event, Berthela Fety, stated that the objective is to make history known to fellow citizens. Indeed, historical accounts remain largely unknown to many.
