The third edition of the CEO Summit Indian Ocean will be held on March 11 and 12, 2027, in Reunion Island at the MOCA Domaine de Montgaillard. Following two successful editions in Madagascar, this economic event aims to strengthen exchanges between Indian Ocean markets and facilitate connections between investors, executives, and institutions. According to a statement released yesterday, more than 600 participants from over 30 countries are expected to attend.
This change of venue marks a new milestone in the development of this regional platform, which originated in Madagascar. Through this choice, organizers hope to increase its international visibility and build more bridges between island and continental economies. Opening up to member countries of the Indian Ocean Rim Association is also a priority for this edition.
Facing market shifts and evolving investment flows, the summit aims to foster closer ties between project leaders, investors, and decision-makers. More than 100 speakers are expected during the two-day event, centered on the theme: ‘The Power to Go Beyond: Conquering New Possibilities’.
The stated objective is to foster new perspectives for growth and cooperation. Discussions will focus on financing, economic integration, and the development of trade. Organizers also aim to encourage the creation of concrete partnerships among regional economic actors.
Eight sectors will be at the heart of the discussions, including tourism, human capital, regional connectivity, blue and green economies, health, investment, agribusiness, and food security. These areas offer various opportunities for cooperation among participating territories, particularly in mobilizing funding, developing economic activities, and streamlining the flow of goods.
Beyond conferences and expert presentations, the program includes meetings between companies, investors, institutions, and project leaders. Professional networking sessions, business meetings, and exhibition spaces will allow participants to showcase their activities and explore collaboration opportunities.
The exhibition gallery will also enable companies and institutions to highlight their innovations and projects. The goal is to turn the exchanges made during the summit into levers for commercial development and regional cooperation.
The program will also feature the CEO Summit Awards & Gala, designed to reward companies, leaders, and initiatives that contribute to the economic development of the Indian Ocean. Six categories have been announced, some of which are dedicated to innovation and corporate social responsibility.
