The 17th edition of the Young Entrepreneur Trophies (TJE), held on October 9 in Antananarivo, honored three Malagasy companies. The winners are eligible for loans of up to 100 million ariary, with a zero-interest rate during the first year.

Three Malagasy companies were rewarded on October 9, 2026, in Antananarivo, during the 17th edition of the TJE organized by BNI Madagascar. The awards include financing opportunities to support their business development, with a ceiling of 100 million ariary for the ‘Croissance +’ (Growth +) category.

In this category, Moli Company, led by Vahatraina Tanjona Ranjalahy, was recognized for its activities in the collection, processing, and marketing of agricultural products. The company is eligible for a loan of up to 100 million ariary at zero interest for the first year.

In the ‘Startup’ category, the prize went to Aqua Valley, led by Thibault Eddie. The company operates in aquaculture, fish farming, and agro-industry, specifically in the production of monosex tilapia in hatcheries. The proposed financing can reach 50 million ariary, with zero interest for the first year.

The ‘Female Entrepreneur’ category, created this year, rewarded BoGasy Academy, led by Vero Hanta Kelhie Razafiasimalala. The organization works in training and professionalization for fashion, creative industries, entrepreneurship, and craftsmanship. It is also eligible for a loan of up to 50 million ariary at zero interest for the first year.

‘TJE is not just another competition. It reflects our conviction that a bank must contribute to the emergence of tomorrow’s businesses. Scaling up is possible when support is real and sustainable,’ emphasized Fanja Ralaivao, Deputy General Manager of BNI Madagascar.

Pre-selected candidates may also benefit from a subsidized rate under the ‘Crédit Tafa’ program, subject to the bank’s terms and standard lending conditions.

The jury included representatives from BNI Madagascar, the Ministry of Industrialization and Private Sector Development, the Economic Development Board of Madagascar (EDBM), the Association of Malagasy Enterprises, and the Malagasy Employers’ Group (GEM).

‘Supporting entrepreneurship means contributing to sustainable industrialization, job creation, and the socio-economic development of Madagascar,’ stated Désiré Marcel Randrianarisoa, Technical Advisor to the Ministry of Industrialization and Private Sector Development.
