Special Rimbaud Day at the IFM: When a 19th-century poet still inspires Malagasy creators

More than 130 years after his passing, Arthur Rimbaud continues to spark interest among readers, artists, and creators around the world. In Madagascar, this influence is notably manifested through “Les Ombres d’un soir” (Shadows of an Evening), a comic book written by Joan de Crane and illustrated by Liva Rajaobelina. It is around this work and the legacy of the poet that the Institut Français de Madagascar (IFM) is hosting a special event.
