Three individuals have been arrested in Antsirabe following the search and closure of four Delta Force premises. Mobilized employees are demanding the resumption of activities.
The Delta Force case has seen its first major development in Antsirabe with the arrest of three people. On Monday, October 5, 2026, police officers from the Anosy anti-crime unit raided four locations of this online gaming company, situated in Ambohimena, Andranomaimbo, near the train station, and in Tsarasaotra.
The four sites were searched and immediately shut down. Phones, computers, and various equipment were seized. Ten people were questioned, and three were subsequently taken to Antananarivo as part of the investigation, alongside ten Chinese nationals arrested on the same day.
Yesterday morning, employees gathered in front of the Antsirabe train station, holding signs to protest the closure. Many young people, claiming to have lost their jobs overnight, are demanding the reopening of their workplace. They explain that they perform online tasks with specific targets to earn their wages within a company owned by Malagasy nationals. Together with the company’s management, they assert that Delta Force’s activities have no connection to the arrested Chinese nationals and that the premises possess all necessary legal documentation.
According to them, employees of this “online gaming” company earn between 100,000 and 180,000 ariary per week, an income that supports many families. These young people are calling on the State to carefully examine the case and authorize the resumption of operations. As of yesterday, the Anosy authorities had not provided any official explanation regarding the motives or the next steps in the case.
