The study and employment fair, organized by the University of Toliara, is being held over three days. Since Thursday, training institutions, university departments, public institutions, and various partners have been presenting the training paths and career opportunities available to high school graduates, students, and visitors in front of the University of Toliara presidency building.
Departments such as Philosophy, History, and Geography, among others, have presented arguments to convince visitors of the existing career opportunities upon completion of their programs. Various speeches from higher education and technical and vocational training departments emphasized the importance of aligning degrees with job market needs.
Questions such as “What to do with these degrees, what skills to develop, and how to land a job with one’s diploma?” were raised during the fair, with answers provided by guest speakers. Students gained further insights during presentations by specialists on topics such as food security. For example, “How can fishery products contribute to the fight against malnutrition in Madagascar?”
Other discussions focused on how to find one’s path and build a future, from training to action. The fair concludes today.
