POLITICS – The Green Party launches local outreach tours

“Active listening to grassroots militants.” This is the perspective from which the Green Party, Hasin’i Madagasikara, presents the “local outreach tour” it is conducting across various regions of the country. The tour began in the Boeny region and continued to the Sofia region earlier this week.

“Placed under the sign of active listening to grassroots militants and sustainable transformation, this visit breathes a new wind of hope. It has allowed the voice of political renewal, rooted in the realities of the field, to be heard loud and clear, while marking a major strategic step forward ahead of the party’s 4th congress and the institutional refoundation of the Republic,” the Greens stated in a press release published on Thursday.

The political party also highlights the mobilization of its militants, particularly youth and women, in the various districts of the region. It affirms its desire to promote democratic rebirth, social justice, and the preservation of natural and cultural heritage. True to their ecological line and their quest for sustainable development, the Greens assert that their approach “lays the concrete foundations for a political alternative shaped by the realities of farmers, producers, and local communities.”

This tour comes as the Green Party intends to continue its territorial expansion and advocate for an ecological and political transition. According to the statement, after the Sofia region, the delegation plans to travel to the far north of the country.
