A man is suspected of threatening a person with death via SMS in order to extort money. He allegedly demanded a total sum of 2.4 million ariary on three separate occasions. Arrested in Ambatofotsy, he has been placed in pre-trial detention at Tsiafahy prison. The case began on September 8, following a complaint filed.
