How can a company evolve when its activity begins to scale up? What obstacles can hinder its development, and what conditions are necessary to reach the next stage? These questions will be at the heart of the upcoming ‘Rentrée du Jeune Patronat’ (Young Entrepreneur Back-to-Business event), scheduled for October 8 and 9 at the Patio Ivato in Sobatra.
Over two days, young entrepreneurs and various stakeholders in the entrepreneurial ecosystem will gather to discuss the conditions necessary for business development in Madagascar. The theme of “scaling up” will be the central focus, with discussions covering both the economic and institutional environment and internal organizational structures. According to the organizers, 70% of the spots are already booked three weeks before the event. The program is finalized, and several partners have confirmed their participation.
The first day will be dedicated to external factors that influence business development, focusing on the business climate and conditions that allow entrepreneurs to grow their activities. Representatives from public and international institutions are expected to discuss economic and institutional factors that can either facilitate or constrain business growth.
The second day will focus on internal levers, featuring masterclasses, workshops, and educational sessions on digitalization, human resources management, and financial management. The goal is to address practices and organizational models that help a company support its growth.
The event will also address the evolving role of the leader as a company scales, requiring adaptations in management methods and responsibilities. The program also includes the presentation of the BNI Madagascar Young Entrepreneur Trophy. Additionally, 25 young project leaders will participate in this edition, which aims to bring together entrepreneurs and ecosystem actors to address the challenges and needs of business evolution.
