A blow for runners and running enthusiasts. The 20th edition of the Tana International Marathon, originally scheduled for October 10 and 11, has been postponed. In an official statement, the organizing committee explained this decision by the desire to allow for “better preparation for the event” and to ensure the best conditions for welcoming participants.
The new date has not yet been set. The committee stated that it will be officially communicated as soon as it is confirmed. This announcement comes while many participants had already registered and begun their training.
Those who have already paid their registration fees will be fully refunded. The organizing committee specifies that the practical procedures and the refund schedule will be communicated to those concerned at a later date.
The organizing committee acknowledges the disappointment and inconvenience caused by this postponement and offers its apologies to the participants. Despite this setback, it assures that its commitment remains to make the Tana International Marathon a major sporting event for sharing and gathering.
