The quarter-final phase provided several important insights on the courts of Toliara on Friday. Clubs from Analamanga particularly distinguished themselves, though JAP Mada from Alaotra Mangoro stood out by reaching the final four.
In the girls’ category, MB2ALL Analamanga delivered a particularly convincing performance, clearly dominating ASE with a score of 83 to 24. This decisive victory demonstrates the collective mastery and efficiency of the Analamanga representatives, who are now firmly in the race for the title.
Meanwhile, JAP Mada from Alaotra Mangoro secured their qualification after a much more contested duel. Facing Fandrasa from Haute Matsiatra, the Alaotra Mangoro team won 39 to 37 in a match where every possession counted. This narrow victory rewards the fighting spirit of JAP Mada, who now joins the remaining teams in the competition.
In the boys’ category, AST and NBE, two clubs from Analamanga, also validated their tickets to the final four. AST overcame BCTT Atsimo Andrefana with a comfortable lead of 76 to 53, while NBE won a very tight duel against FBCS from Sava, 73 to 72. These two results confirm the intensity of the quarter-finals and promise highly competitive semi-finals.
Two boys’ matches, pitting JAP Mada from Alaotra Mangoro against AS Monfort from Amoron’i Mania, and ASE Analamanga against EBF from Haute Matsiatra, were not yet finished at the time of going to press.
