Madagascar is facing a major challenge: nearly 20% of children under the age of 5 do not possess a birth certificate, according to the MICS 2025 survey conducted by INSTAT and UNICEF. These alarming figures were presented yesterday in Anosy by authorities and officials from the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF).
