The elimination of Option B in the Brevet d’études du premier cycle (BEPC) exam marks the end of the choice to take or skip the English test. Starting from the 2026-2027 school year, this subject will be mandatory for all candidates. The BEPC, which concludes the four years of lower secondary education, will henceforth be conducted without specific options.
