Last Saturday, the Malagasy government made two strategic appointments within its diplomatic corps. Former Senate President and interim Head of State, Rivo Rakotovao, has been officially appointed as Madagascar’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium and the European Union. He succeeds Jean Omer Beriziky and will be tasked with strengthening ties between the two regions.
Additionally, Georget Mandehatsara has been appointed as the new Ambassador of Madagascar to New Delhi, India.
