Who would have imagined brooms as video game heroes? With “Broom Doom,” Red Raketa Studio is betting on a concept as strange as it is original. The studio’s first cooperative project allows one to four players to clean up a haunted mansion while facing the creatures that reside there.
Cursed debris, monsters, and other dangers await the players, under the threat of the Witch mistress, who is capable of turning them into kindling. To progress, they must above all coordinate their actions and cooperate in the face of various threats.
Blending horror and humor, the game claims an identity described by the studio as “horror-goofy.” The unsettling atmosphere of the mansion contrasts with the absurdity of these heroes tasked with cleaning up. A heavy metal-accented soundtrack reinforces this unique atmosphere. The trailer for “Broom Doom” has been available since yesterday on the Red Raketa Studio YouTube channel.
“Kalanoro” coming soon. This announcement comes as Red Raketa Studio is also preparing for the release of “Kalanoro,” its first game, which is now scheduled for release on September 24. The title will benefit from international distribution thanks to a partnership with Sega, particularly in Japan and certain Asian markets. “Kalanoro” will also be presented at the Tokyo Game Show 2026, while “Broom Doom” marks a new milestone for the studio with this first cooperative gaming experience.
